Царството на чушките – село Доня Локошница

2020 г., сряда, 30-ти септември

Новият телевизионен сезон беше започнал, а с него и новите идеи за рубрики. Започнах да разработвам поредицата “Фотографите”, по идея на продуцента Ралина Тропанкева. Реализирахме 22 интересни епизода с български фотографи. Чрез техните снимки успях да видя нови светове, да пътувам до различни места, да се докосна до съдбите на вдъхновяващи хора. Една от срещите ми беше с фотографа Иво Данчев. Снимахме в село Добростан, където вече от година той беше избрал да създаде своя дом. Докато разказваше история след история от своите преживявания ми показа и няколко “червени” снимки. Така научих за с. Доня Локошница. Всяка година през септември селото става цялото червено, защото всяка къща там е накичена от горе до долу с чушки. Много се впечатлих и чаках цяла година, за да настъпи отново есента и червеното “злато” да заблести по къщите.

2021 г., четвъртък, 16-ти септември 

Слънцето колебливо намигаше през облаците. До село Доня Локошница ни очакваше около 3ч. път – от София, през Ниш. Пътуването беше чудесно – с топло кафе, хубава музика и приятни разговори с оператора Добромир Иванов. Типично за мен, притесненията вече ме бяха връхлетели: Как ще се справя с езиковата бариера? Ще намерим ли достатъчно силна история? Дали селото ще изглежда така, както го видях в снимките на Иво? Ще ни приемат ли добре сръбските ни съседи?

Когато пристигнахме останах малко изненадана – от около 200 къщи, не повече от 50 бяха окичени с нанизите от чушки. Не беше така червено, както си го представях. Дали не бяхме пристигнали прекалено рано? Не, всъщност бяхме точно на време. Селото се готвеше на следващия ден да празнува своя традиционен “Фестивал на чушките”. 

Хората в селото бяха свикнали да бъдат снимани – предимно от фотографи. За първи път български телевизионен екип, обаче беше в Доня Локошница. 

Имахме трудности с българо-сръбския език, на който се опитвахме да общуваме. Това беше основно предизвикателство за мен, за да направя добри и смислени интервюта. Всички бяха много дружелюбни. Отваряха широко вратите на домовете си. Усмихваха се. Опитваха се да ни покажат всичко и да ни помогнат. Въпреки това, равносметката ми за интервютата е, че не се получиха. Но пък прекрарахме два чудесни дни, а операторът Добромир Иванов се погрижи да направи вълнуващи кадри, които разказват историята на селото и без думи.

/ИСТОРИЯТА/

Последните лъчи на септемврийското слънце огряват полската шир, не далеч от селото. Вече е е започнало брането. Един стар трактор пронизва глухите ливади. А между узрелите кукурзи блести червеното богатство. Семейството на Ивица събира последните чушки от тазгодишната реколта. 

В селото вече се носи ароматът на печени чушки. Ивица ги върти на огъня цял следобед. От тях той ще направи айвар – най-известната сръбска разядка. Не издава рецептата.

Не всички се бяха върнали от нивите си. Но селото е тихо не само заради това. От няколко години е започнало да опустява.

От над 500 домакинства днес в Доня Локошница живеят 200. Почти всички, обаче отглеждат чушки – 400 тона годишно. Основно за производство на червен пипер – сладък и лют.

Всички в селото се моят за киша, за да спасят годината. С броя на чушките в миналото се измервало богатството на семейството. Червеният пипер бил рядка подправка. Късно идва в Европа, родината й е Америка. Днес, обаче червеният прах се оказва, че прави семействата по друг начин богати. Червените низове чушки около къщите държат здраво семейството заедно. В ранни зори цялото семейство се отправя към полето. Никой не се срамува от полския труд. Прашното поле им носи смях.

Снимката отдолу ми е любима, защото има история. Тук си подаваме с колегата Добромир Иванов сръбска ракия. Не само чушките са им люти – и ракията също. Не съм я опитала, но по аромата се познаваше. Семейството на Ивица прекара цял ден на полето. След час снимане, седнахме заедно с тях сред чушките, буквално на черната земя. Вече бяхме преглътнали праха по дрехите.  Жената на Ивица разряза няколко хляба на половина. Всеки от нас получи своята половинка + голямо парче месо. Опитахме най-накрая и от айвара. Беше чуден момент. Сред хората, на полето. Обядвахме на земята. Беше ми много тежко на стомаха след това, а Добри сигурно все още преживява този половин хляб, който погълна по време на спортната си диета.Много истински момент. По-късно в дома им пихме кафе и ядохме диня. 🙂

През 2020-та била плодорона година за домакинството на Ивица. 6-членното му семейство успява да произведе 30 000 килограма чушки. Но пък пазарът бил по-труден, заради пандемията. Надява се, че го очакват добри години, защото това е наследството, което ще остави за децата си. Ако не намерят друга работа казва, поне това им е сигурно. Местните, обаче са притеснени, че от година на година поминакът замира.

Равносметката за пазара: 

Цената на една връзка чушки стига до 40 лева. 1 кг се продава за 10 лв на едро и между 16 и 20 лв. на дребно, а смленият пипер около 2 лв.

Всяко семейство ниже средно по 400 връзки с чушки. Продават се из цяла Сърбия, най-вече по пазарите. Износ има основно към Словения и Хърватия, но и много хора от България са опитвали от вкуса им. Низането е трудно.Чушката не се дава лесно. Видяхме ръцете на жените – изпободени, захабени. Едвам продумваха с напуканите си устни. А по изсъхналите и потъпмнели от слънце лица личеше всяка бръчица отминал живот.

Точно 9 месеца семействата са в чакане да видят плода на своя труд. Не случайно старите хора в селото казват, че има много общо между любовта и чушките. Ако не ги отглеждаш с любов, реколтата няма да е добра.Силно вярващи са. Казват, че всяка година Бог ги благославя с добра реколта.
